Selcom POS is used by our super agents, vendors and merchants. A Selcom PayPoint Vendor is typically a retailer who has obtained a POS terminal from Selcom and is able to dispense airtime and facilitate bill payments and other transactions on behalf of our clients and billers to its customers. Selcom Vendor can do the following transactions:

  • Airtime (Vodacom, Tigo, Airtel, Zantel, Smart, Halotel, Talk360 and TTCL)
  • Internet ( Smile, TTCL 4G and Smart)
  • TV Subscriptions ( DSTV, BoxOffice, AzamTV, ZUKU and StarTimes)
  • Utilities (LUKU, Dawasco, NHC, Thornlux and AfriSmart) 
  • Pension Funds (PPF and PSPF)
  • Tax payments (TRA)
  • Bill payment (eScan, Bahati Nasibu ya Taifa (LOTTO), National Stadium Tickets, Start My Safari and  UTT,)
  • Merchant Payments (Insurance, Restaurants, Supermarkets, Fuel Stations and Shopping Malls)

How to become a Selcom Paypoint Vendor
In order to become a Selcom Paypoint Agent you are required to submit the following documents:

  • A valid business license
  • TIN Certificate
  • A copy of your ID (Passport/Driver’s License)
  • An address of your business location
  • Two passport size photos
  • Starting working capital



Selcom Paypoint App & USSD

The Selcom PayPoint App is an alternative to the PayPoint POS. It allows individuals to remotely carry out any transaction that is possible on the POS at any time from a mobile phone, provided that the PayPoint App has sufficient funds, and earn a commission with minimal investment. The App is available on PlayStore and AppStore. The Selcom Paypoint service can also be accessed on a feature phone through a USSD interface.
